TRUST

I saught the Lord,Every whisper of my heart. You see, you look down, I ask and you answer, But is that why you’re good? No, you’re good because you’re God.You heard, you answered, But is that why I choose to trust you? I trust because you made me, I trust because you’re who you say you are I trust because in the end, You will have all the glory and honor due your name, Regardless of my prayers being heard and despite the list of prayers unanswered. I trust because you say, “It is finished.”. You won.

river of mercy towards us all.

MOMMY’S SO THANKFUL

Since the day you were born, even before, I loved you. Thank you for making me a mommy. Thank you for those eyes that stare up at me with pure acceptance. They know no other love than my own. Thank you for being my teachers. You sharpen me when you feel sad or angry and you soften me when you need a hug. I’m thankful your little heart knows my love will know no bounds as long as I live. I’m thankful for you, for you push me beyond what I thought was possible for myself. I’m so thankful for the giggles, the snuggles, the tears and bo-bos. Thank you for showing me how to love as Jesus did as I lay my own life down in surrender and sacrifice, so that you may grow and bloom, take flight and soar.
