I’ve been thinking alot about building. Jesus, as we all know, is THE master builder of His church. Take a step back from the macro-picture, and you have the seemingly ordinary days of a mom.
You spend almost 98% of your time sacrificing for your kids needs and well being, pouring everything you have into them getting nurtured, both physically with the food you prep, back, cook and put on the table….and mentally/emotionally with the time going through homework assignments, learning letter sounds, and potty training trips to the toilet.
After a week of being away, I came back to my home in Ottawa recalibrated and craving community. But I dont just want any community, I want an encouraging and uplifting one for moms. Basically, I wanted what seems impossible because none of us moms have time! lol.
I thought of the quote from (? source unknown, sorry):
Be the change you want to see in the world.
If I don’t have community, ask for it. Pray about it, pray for the friends, the future friends, the ones not yet in the kingdom of God. There’s moms everywhere yearning for community and friendships and a sense of purpose in their everyday. That’s why i came up with the following 7 day challenge for mommas.

In the end, i pray this spreads like a pay-it-forward kind of thing. Jesus will build His church, but I KNOW He yearns to build up His mothers.
Be blessed.
